Uncover the truth and face the consequences in "Who Killed Sara"? The TV drama series "Who Killed Sara" follows the story of Alex Guzman (Manolo Cardona) and his quest for revenge against the Lazcano family. 18 years ago, Alex, his sister Sara (Ximena Lamadrid), her boyfriend Rodolfo Lazcano (Alejandro Nones), and their friends were out on a boat, when they decided to go parascending. Unfortunately, the harness broke and Sara fell from a great height, dying from her injuries. Alex blamed Rodolfo for his actions, and Rodolfo's father Cesar Lazcano (Ginés García Millán) persuaded Alex to take the blame for the accident and accept 30 years in prison. The story begins almost 18 years later, when Alex is released from prison and sets out to get revenge on the Lazcano family. He hacks into the casino's TV displays and runs a video of himself accusing them of murder and vowing revenge. Cesar's decision to pursue taking down Alex causes immediate problems and his youngest daughter Elisa (Carolina Miranda) begins to investigate. During her investigation, Elisa witnesses an argument between Rodolfo and Chema over Alex's fate, and follows Rodolfo to Alex's house, where she finds Alex lying on the floor, bleeding and surrounded by photos of her own family. Cesar's henchmen had paid Alex a visit, giving him a warning not to pursue further action against the Lazcano family.
