Creator, writer and executive producer Bruno Heller embraces a Batman-less world and creates a mythology of invention that captures the struggle of ordinary people trying to save a city in chaos without a savior. Gotham is not a distraction from what's not there, but a series unto itself, with a compelling pilot and excellent writing and acting.
